Michael King

Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer

Michael King is a Managing Director and the Chief Compliance Officer of Lone Star and Hudson, responsible for the compliance function of both organizations. Mr. King has 23 years of experience in securities compliance and regulation.

Prior to joining Lone Star in 2018 and Hudson in 2020, Mr. King served as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at TPG and Chief Compliance Officer of TPG Capital BD, as Chief Compliance Counsel at Gerson Lehrman Group and as an Assistant Director with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement. Mr. King holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Vanderbilt University and a Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law.
